STUDENT OF THE WEEK
I would like to thank all of the people this year that sent in nomination forms for our Student of the Week program. We had the ability to recognize several students for four different school districts who have excelled in a variety of activities and had academic accomplishments this year.
This recognition is made possible by the combined efforts of our Nebraska Community Websites and their weekly newsletters and the Plattsmouth Journal. Without these publications the only recognition given to the students would be through Witte Physical Therapy’s various social media outlets.
Next year the program will return with some minor changes to help strengthen its purpose and provide the selected students with the recognition they deserve for their accomplishments.

Recipe of the week...
To make these Campfire Strawberries, all you need is.....
skewer
strawberries
marshmallow fluff
melted chocolate
I took a handful of chocolate chips and melted them to drizzle these strawberries. No need to measure anything, and these will be lots of fun to make with the kids!
Directions:
- First wash and pat dry your strawberries.
- Dip your strawberry in marshmallow fluff
- Place a strawberry over the fire and roast. Drizzle with melted chocolate, and enjoy!
We loved our Campfire Strawberries on popsicle sticks, or even just by themselves.
These Campfire Strawberries can be enjoyed right away, but can also can be made ahead of time and are just as delicious!

Something a little Personal....

Graduation Day for my son.... what an emotional time! So proud yet so not ready to let him grow up! This particular graduation was even tougher than the first 4. It was also my husbands Birthday. He passed away 1 June 2016 ... coming up on a year in a couple weeks. So to celebrate my sons new adventure in life with the loss of his dad was a rough day! We as a family pulled it off though. Tears of joy and sorrow filled our day.... but we hung onto each other and the knowledge that we will some day all be together again.
Michael... I am so proud of you! You have grown into such a wonderful young man! I cant wait to see the life God has planned for you!
Ken.... I miss you! I hope you had a wonderful birthday in Heaven. We did our best to have fun celebrating for you here on earth.
He's got his daddy's smile!
